WHAT'S IN A
MANUAL?
A manual is a starting point to get you going. It is
never finished and grows with usage and vivid imagination. But it is not,
and should not be the concept of one person. Sharing ideas is what makes it
communal and vibrant. A simple idea expressed in words may be supplemented
with an illustration or snapshot from someone else. If a scope pattern, with
detailed information attached, is worth a thousand words, then several
captures at different speed, load or snap-test is worth a million. Remember,
we owe it to each other to share what we learned, either from others or from
our own experience. A writer needs an audience, but the audience needs to
respond to encourage the writer to go on and be creative. For us to know
that the material created is useful, we ask you to leave your name.
